E' un dramma che lega la vita di diversi personaggi. Sylvia ha avuto un'infanzia piuttosto difficile ma, divenuta adulta, cercherà di recuperare il rapporto con sua madre. Gina e Nick sono alle prese con un'intricata storia clandestina. Maria è una ragazza che aiuta i genitori a ritrovarsi. Mariana è una sedicenne alle prese con la vita travagliata dei suoi genitori.
This film links the lives of various people. Sylvia has had a difficult childhood but, when she grows up, she tries to form the bond with her mother again. Gina and Nick are struggling with a complex and furtive affair. Maria is helping her parents to get back together. Mariana is a sixteen year old trying to face up to her parents problems.
